NO XBOX ONE HEADSET ADAPTERS TILL 2014 (Escapist News Now)
It was confirmed this morning by Microsoft that you will not be able to use 3rd party headsets for chat on Xbox One until they release a special adapter.
No confirmed date, all they said was early 2014. Headset makers like Turtle Beach and Astro Gaming have confirmed you will still be able to use your headphones for game audio when the console launches next month, you just won't be able to chat.
The reason for the delay? According to Microsoft they want to help manufacturers, "create new headsets that will take full advantage of the Xbox One technology."
